Zombies
Zombies, also known as the living dead, are corpses that have been taken over by a type of virus that turns them into a cannibal. They go crazy for flesh and have an acute sense of smell that helps them point out where anything with a heartbeat is. Some may run fast, but others don't run at all. When the virus has fully taken over the zombies eyes are usually white and bloodshot, when it is starting to take over they are normal, but start to get blood shot.
There skin eventually rots and decays, but the zombie is dead so why would it care. The only way to kill a zombie is either by burning it, cutting off its head, or doing something that cuts off the oxygen flow to the brain because even though they are dead they still need to breath. Damaging the brain in any way will kill the creature.
